Coaching Clinic (All Levels)
This two-night coaching clinic will focus on player development from
8U through draft. Focuses include practice organization, off-ice
conditioning, and advanced coaching techniques.

Matt is currently an Assistant Coach for the New York Islanders. He joined the Islanders coaching staff in July of 2013. Previous to his role as an Assistant Coach with the Islanders, he worked as Assistant Coach with the Bridgeport Sound Tigers for four years, totaling nine years with the Islanders organization. He began his coaching career as an Assistant coach of the Johnstown Chiefs of the ECHL in Johnstown, PA. From the Chiefs, Matt moved on to pursue his coaching career at the collegiate level as Assistant Coach of the Penn State Nittany Lions.
Eric is currently the Director of Player Development for the New York Islanders. His role with the Islanders includes scouting and developing Islanders prospects after they are drafted. His playing experience includes time in junior hockey, ECHL, American Hockey League and the National Hockey League. His career makes him a tremendous asset because he is able to relate with all players, at any level they’re playing. Cairns was a defenseman in the NHL for 10 years with Pittsburgh Penguins, New York Islanders and Florida Panthers.
Sean is a personal trainer who has conducted private personal and group strength and conditioning sessions for over 15 years. For many of those years he has helped Greater Latrobe hockey players with strength and conditioning. Sean is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, as well as JumpStretch Certified, TRX Certified, and a Certified USA Weightlifting Club Coach. Myers played high school hockey for Greater Latrobe and he also played for the Westmoreland Eagles and the Mt. Lebanon Hornets AAA Midget team. He is currently a Health and PE teacher at Derry Middle School. Sean holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology from Penn State and a Bachelor of Science degree in Health and Physical Education at Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
